She called all the teachers to come up too.

We called 911, said what we gonna do
All of our teachers are playing on the roof
She said, they’re gonna get hungry
From all that running around
Make a big picnic, and they’ll come down

We made fries and pizza and burgers and pie
Pointed a fan at the roof.
When they smelled that feast
They dropped the balls on the ground
And they all came down,

She thought that she could do it,
She knew she had to try,
Born to be a writer, reaching for the sky.
She wrote a little story, put it in the mail
She didn’t win the contest, she thought that she had failed.

I was driving in the city, and I very nearly crashed

When he swerved across the traffic just to get himself a snack.
